RRC Stingrays

Welcome Back Stingrays!

Welcome to another great summer of swimming with the Roland Run Stingrays!  We are happy to announce that Max Verheyen will be returning as our Head Coach for the 2026 season!  Max will be joined by Assistant Coaches Maddy Saulo (Stingray Senior) and Addie Scott (Towson Tiger).

1 Unassisted Lap of Freestyle is a Mandatory Requirement for Swim Team

Early Registration (before May 25th):  $150 per swimmer

Late Registration (after May 26th):  $165 per swimmer

Registration (for 15 & Over):  $35 per swimmer

All registered swimmers will be given a team t-shirt.  All new Stingrays will be given a swim cap.  Returning swimmers will need to purchase a swim cap if they don't have theirs from previous seasons.

Our team is a member of the Central Maryland Swim League (CMSL) in Division IV.  The 2026 CMSL season will consist of 8 Live Meets:  3 Home Meets, 2 Away Meets, 1 Home Time Trial, along with a Divisional and/or Invitational Swim Meet (for swimmers that qualify).

Swim practice will begin after Memorial Day on Tuesday, May 26th and end on Friday, July 17th.  An additional week of practice from July 20th through July 24th is reserved for swimmers that qualify for the Straehle Invitational Swim Meet (based on target lap time) or the CMSL Divisional Swim Meet (based on team ranking).

We rely on swim team parents to fill positions as volunteers, tech operators, & volunteer officials.  We can not stress enough how important volunteers are needed in order to make the swim team a success.

If your kid is swimming, you will need to volunteer.  If you don't volunteer, your child can be pulled from the meet.

Looking forward to a fun summer swim season!

Caroline Alcarese & Chris Baldelli
